Tracy Horsman is artisan who makes and teaches pottery from her mountain top retreat just a few kilometers outside of Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada.
I’ve known Tracy for many years, having gone to High School with her. Like many, we had lost touch, but through the powers of Facebook, once again reunited in our more ‘mature’ time of life. I had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time with her, her partner Jamie and their two Maremma Sheepdogs on a trip home recently. I couldn’t resist documenting her craft. She even let me ‘throw’ a couple of pieces!
I remember Tracy as always going the opposite paths that everyone else went, just to be different and having an amazing creative energy in everything she did. She hadn’t changed a bit when I saw her. Still taking the other path, still glowing in the creativity that emblazes her soul. Still Tracy.
